I love being a resource for people. So, when I find good information I like to share it. [Tweet “One of my go-to places for nutritional information is www.weightymatters.ca. “]The site is the work of Dr. Yoni Freedhoff, whom I cannot say enough about. If you want uncensored, researched based information, he’s your guy. Here is a recent interview he did where he talks about:
What’s the deal with gluten? Is the current craze being exaggerated?
What are some solutions for bloating
Is there a link between IBS and breastfeeding?
How often should you be going number two?
How much damage do detox teas do to your stomach?
Why does eating raw vegetables cause a sore stomach?
To salt or not to salt?
Thanks for the resource. I happily went GF back in 2009, but I’m always interested in learning about other sources for information on clean living.
The most important thing I think, is to try different things and see how you feel. If you go GF and you feel better, fantastic. If you go GF and don’t notice much of a change, try something else. We are all walking experiments 🙂
I agree with you, Brenda. Everyone is different. I seem to metabolize medication differently than others. I don’t know how many times doctors have said to me, “I’ve never had anyone react that way before.” I think it’s good to experiment (as long as there’s no big risk) and then monitor carefully.
That’s a great point Gina! I think it’s part of human nature to want a single, right answer. It just doesn’t exist.
